The Role
We are now seeking a talented, client-focused Private Client Lawyer to join our clients’ flourishing department close to the Hampshire/Surrey/West Sussex border. Becoming part of a growing team which includes some of the firms’ partners; the successful Lawyer will handle a challenging caseload of Private Client to include: drafting simple and complex Wills; estate planning; trust creation and administration; probate matters; elderly client work; powers of attorney and; estate administration. In addition, the ideal Lawyer will also participate in business development activities for the department and firm as a whole.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with around 1 – 3 years’ PQE gained within a reputable Wills and Probate department.
You must have excellent technical skills with expertise encompassing all non-contentious Private Client matters.
You will be client-focused with first class communication and drafting skills.
You will be a team player and also able to work on your own initiative.
Additional accreditations such as STEP and/or SFE membership are desirable.
Business development experience would be highly advantageous.
You will be driven, personable and display meticulous attention to detail.
