Duty Solicitor - Tier 1, Legal 500 firm - Central London

A rare opportunity has arisen to join the City office of an ever improving Legal 500 firm.

This multi-office practice is ranked as one of the best for their work in criminal law and handle some of the most high profile and serious cases across the country. They have grown consistently since their inception almost 30 years ago and over the past few years in particular, they have received an increasing amount of white collar and private client instructions. Whilst taking these on, they have also continued to maintain their commitment to publically funded work.

Due to this ever increasing amount of work coming to the firm, an opportunity has arisen for you as a Duty Solicitor to join their highly recommended team, based out of their Chancery Lane office. 

To be successful in your application, you will possess the following attributes:

• Duty accredited
• Experience working on a variety of cases including high profile and complex matters
• Able to manage your own work independently, but keen to be part of a supportive team
• Confident advocate, particularly at police stations and Magistrates' Courts
• Used to preparing cases for trial, particularly for the Crown Court

Additional experience in extradition work would also be beneficial, but is not a pre-requisite for the role.
