A multinational financial services institution in the heart of the City. This long-established organisation provides a huge array of financial services to a wide range of global clients and is one of the world's 30 largest companies. They are a business that has seen excellent growth over the last decade and are now looking to recruit a newly qualified Corporate Banking lawyer (maximum 3 years' PQE) to join their in-house legal team on a permanent basis.

Your new role

As part of a tight-knit and well-respected legal function, this role will see you advising the business on a range of matters spanning across business and non-business areas of the company, including syndicated loans, risk participation agreements and letters of credit. You will also be responsible for advising on documentation in relation to distressed debt and restructurings.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a newly qualified lawyer with a maximum of 3 years' post-qualification experience (or equivalent) and a keen interest in legal matters relating to the financial services industry. An ideal background would involve training with a Magic Circle Law firm or a City-based institution. An ability to learn quickly and a willingness be exposed to new opportunities and experiences is essential for this role, as is a desire to further yourself in your career development. You will be an excellent communicator who will liaise effectively with all areas of the business and display a hunger to contribute from day one.
