Corporate Solicitor: East Yorkshire

Our client is a prominent firm with offices throughout Yorkshire and they have a vacancy for a solicitor to join the busy Corporate team, based principally in the Hull office with opportunities to further develop the York office.

The role involves working with the other solicitors and Partners within the Corporate team which, along with the Commercial & IP and Employment teams, forms part of our Company & Commercial Department. The work will be focussed on corporate transactions (including M&A, banking and shareholder arrangements) for the full range of the firm's clients - from PLCs to family businesses and substantial charities to education providers nationwide - with the opportunity to enhance the team's specialisms and play a full role in business development.

Requirements

They are looking for a Senior Solicitor/Associate with corporate law experience, likely to fall within the 3 to 5 year PQE range although for the right match we will consider candidates who fall outside that range.

The successful candidate will be eager to progress, using their skills to deliver a high quality service to clients. Being a team player with the personality, drive and ambition to further grow the work is essential, as is having a commitment to continuously develop personal as well as team skills.
