Commercial Lawyer

An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel, with experience in procurement contracts, to join a multi-national Technology business in a position that will offer a defined career route and the opportunity to work with a highly experienced legal team. The role would be perfect for a Lawyer looking to progress their career. Salary is dependent on experience although in the region of £50k-£60k

The successful candidate will sit within a close-knit and highly experienced legal team, and will amongst other things draft and lead negotiation of agreements for the supply of goods and services; review and participate in the negotiation of agreements; work closely with the dispute team to determine position and strategy; keep contract templates and internal briefing notes up to date and also liaise with other legal teams within the organisation through the Procurement International Working Forum to share ideas, learning and best practice.

Experience in Technology and Telecoms will be highly advantageous and applicants will ideally have more than 2 years' experience. Candidates will also need to have a solid grounding in commercial law and be proficient in drafting skills and be able to draft standard commercial contracts and will have the ability to draft more complex contracts, under supervision. The ability to work unsupervised and have excellent communication skills is essential for this role.
