New Vacancy - Commercial Litigation Legal Secretary Manchester City Centre

Our client is an established reputablefirm based in Manchester City Centre and they are looking for a legal secretary to work within the media and privacy law team. The role will primarily involve assisting a partner and a solicitor, although the successful candidate will also be required to provide support across the commercial litigation team as the need arises.

The work itself will focus on litigation cases concerning the media, reputational issues, and privacy and data protection disputes. The team's work often includes sensitive and high profile cases.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Excellent spelling, grammar and attention to detail
• Litigation experience
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Experience at using Outlook/Word/Excel
• Familiarity with Laserforms for the purpose of court documents
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident telephone manner
• Ability to work from own initiative but also under instruction
• Organisational skills
• Diary management
• Ability to complete admin duties - filing/printing/liaising with couriers/processing payments
• Audio typist with a wpm speed of approx. 75

· Experience of the case management system Proclaim would be an advantage but is not essential (as training will be provided).
