Currently looking to recruit a vibrant and confident Legal Assistant to join their in-house legal team.


Your new role

As part of a tight-knit and highly cohesive legal function, this highly engaging role will see you provide vital support to the business in areas such as an accurate legal filing system and drafting correspondence. You will work directly alongside the General Counsel, supporting them in preparing for vital Board, RAC, Remco and Exco meetings. With team guidance, you will have responsibility for preparing, updating and amending commercial contracts and company policies. You will also be responsible for managing the General Counsel's diary, where you will arrange meeting as well as book travel and accommodation in a varied and dynamic role.


What you'll need to succeed

You will have Legal Secretarial Qualification (or equivalent) and have experience in supporting an in-house legal team with regard to company and contract law. You will be a confident individual with exceptional analytical abilities and be an excellent communicator with senior board members. With the potential for this role to progress in to a Paralegal capacity, you will, you will have a solid understanding of legal language and an ability to review and analyse legal documentation when required, as well as knowledge of relevant company legislation, particularly regarding money laundering and data protection.
