Planning Lawyer

LAW Absolute is currently working with a Local Authority based in East Anglia.

Our client is seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer for an initial three months with the strong likelihood for extension. Competitive rates are also on offer.

The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable, determined and hardworking and be able to work without supervision. You will be required to pick up a full caseload from the outset.

If you are successful upon application you will be expected to deal with the following matters:

• Negotiating and drafting complex agreements
• S106 agreements
• S278 agreements
• Representing the council at Committee
• Advising on CPO matters and
• Assisting with regeneration projects

Due to the urgency of the role it would be ideal if you were available on short notice. We are able to consider applications if candidates are available on up to two weeks’ notice.

It is essential that you have previous experience as you will be required to carry a full caseload with minimal supervision.
