High profile national firm are looking to appoint an Employment Law solicitor to join their thriving team.

You will have trained and gained experience at a noted team and will have taken on responsibility for wining your own clients.

This is a majority respondent side role.

Working alongside senior partners and associates you will enjoy working in a hardworking and supportive team and will have partner support to draw upon.

You can expect to get access to some of the firm's key clients but you will also be encourged to bring on your own high quality clients too.

This role will involve a mixture of non-contentious and contentious employment work and the successful candidate will be expected to want to excel in both areas.

The candidate will have a wide and varied work load to include (amongst others) some or all of the following areas: - Drafting employment contracts and policies; - Day to day advice to clients on their employee relations issue including by telephone and email, as well as drafting and checking of related letters; - Project work relating to restructuring and TUPE; - Corporate support work regarding M&A and outsourcing; - Enforcement of restrictive covenants and confidentiality clauses; - Employment Tribunal case handling and advocacy; - Negotiating and drafting of settlement agreements; - Delivery of training and development of new business opportunities.

Applications are encouraged from candidates at 3+ years PQE with high degrees of enthusaism and self-motivation. You should be commercial in approach but approachable in nature where you can forge and nurture those key relationships you will inherit.

Relocators will be considered however you must be able to demonstrate a commitment to live and work in the Birmingham area.
