We are Oxford City Council’s in house legal practice operating at the heart of historic Oxford. We provide the full range of legal services to one of the most efficient,effective and ambitious councils in the country with high aspirations for the city.

We currently have an opportunity for a qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive with significant experience in planning.  This is a key role in a City of national significance and you should have an excellent track record of dealing with complex and high profile planning matters in a local authority context, including providing advocacy in courts, tribunals and public inquiries. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and credible individual, with a commitment to excellent customer service to join our team.  You should be a team player, be flexible in approach and be willing to get involved in all areas of planning work. We are an ambitious service and are looking for someone that wants to play a prominent role in developing and improving the service.
