Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Thornton legal are working with a Top 100 Law Firm based in the North West. They are looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with upwards of 4 years PQE.

The role is to work in a Legal 500 ranked Dispute Resolution Team consisting of 3 Partners and 8 Associates. Work types would include a range of the following:

• Shareholder Disputes
• Breach of Contract Claims
• Breach of Warranty
• Professional Negligence
• Property Litigation
• IP disputes
• Debt recovery

Clients of the firms include sports clubs, large retailers, SME's, banks and national corporations.

The litigation work is genuinely commercial as opposed to insurance based. It is hoped that the successful candidate will integrate quickly into a team that has experience of all manner of dispute resolution work from court proceedings to arbitration, mediation and adjudication.

Candidates with less than 4 years PQE but can demonstrate that they can add value to the team from day one will be considered provided they have sound academics and have worked for a similarly sized full-service law firm.

Part time candidates will also be considered on their merits.

Salary up to £50,000 plus benefits including:
