Job Details
Employment Solicitor - Legal 500 and Chambers listed firm - Norwich
This role genuinely offers something different from the usual standard fee earner positions that come up within private practice firms and I am eager to speak to potential candidates to explain these innovative plans and this unique opportunity in more detail.
The successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years' experience in dealing with employment law matters including issues concerning TUPE, employment contracts, redundancy procedures, HR support, business immigration and employment law disputes.
The firm sees this as a key strategic hire, as the person appointed will become the 'go-to' person for employment law matters within the firm. This is a very forward thinking firm who have ambitious plans for the future in terms of their employment law offering and so they are looking for similarly ambitious lawyers who can come on board and contribute to their future success and be an integral part of the team right from day one.
There will be work to be serviced from the outset, so this is by no means a standing start type of role, but there will also be plenty of opportunities to business develop and to help shape the firm's employment offering, with the backing and support of an in house marketing team and a supportive management structure.
This role may be of particular interest to those with an in house background looking to move back into private practice in order to progress their careers into more senior positions or alternatively those in private practice that are looking for something different to the purely time recorded target driven type of environment often found in other firms.
The salary for this role will be dependent on experience and as part of a good overall package with flexible benefits tailored to what is important to the successful applicant. The firm envisages excellent career progression prospects for the successful candidate with the potential of growing a team around you over time and progression up to partnership.
If this sounds of interest please get in touch either by applying below with a copy of your CV or giving me a call.

In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".
