Role: Paralegal/Training Contract Opportunity

A unique opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, motivated paralegal/trainee to join a growing team. My Client is a progressive commercial law firm based in Berkshire.

My client will offer a training contract to the right candidate, following a successful probation period.

My client is a specialist commercial practice, so the successful candidate will gain experience and knowledge in a broad range of commercial matters, including a variety of non-contentious commercial property work, largely tenant-focused, commercial matters, including franchising, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions and Commercial litigation.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be dealing with clients directly, right from the start, with a varied case load.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• At least 6 months previous experience in private practice or in-house legal role
• At least some practical experience of non-contentious commercial property work

Preferred:

• Completed LPC or equivalent
• Strong Academics
• Some civil litigation experience would be highly desirable

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Confident and outgoing
• Practical, solution-focused approach
• Commercial awareness
• Comfortable with networking and business development activities
