Job Details

Our client is a leading law firm offering a range of specialist legal services across its four offices in Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. They are currently looking for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to work full time within their busy Wills & Estate Planning team.

You will join a large Private Client team at the Newbury office which currently has four Solicitors, one Legal Executive (Fellow), and three Paralegals. The senior private client solicitor must have a sound knowledge of all aspects of private client work including drafting wills, enduring powers of attorney, court of protection, inheritance tax planning, and probate (ideally both contentious and non-contentious).

The ideal candidate will be:
  • A team player, self-sufficient, with an ability to manage your own files
  • Experience of all aspects of private client work, equivalent to 4+ years’ PQE Good technical skills
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Excellent client liaison skills
