The Charity Commission registers and regulates charities in England and Wales. We play a critical role in ensuring that the public can support charities with confidence.

As part of our transformation programme to strengthen the Commission, we are focusing on developing a more efficient, effective and specialist legal service. We are looking for talented individuals to bring consistently greater levels of legal expertise to our regulation and support of charities.

  • advising our Investigation, Monitoring and Enforcement function on complex legal issues arising from compliance work

You must be a qualified solicitor or barrister and show evidence of strong analytical skills; case working skills; legal research skills; customer service and team-working skills; and be comfortable interpreting and advising on unfamiliar areas of law.
