As Senior Legal Adviser, you will assist the Director of Legal Services and the Legal Services team, working at the heart of the University, in providing high quality, robust and timely advice across the whole of the University’s activities. Your work will always be varied – no two days will be the same. You will work with senior people across the University and with external advisers and third parties. 

As a qualified solicitor or barrister or legal executive with experience gained in-house or in private practice, you will have had a good general training and detailed experience in at least one of commercial/contract/ procurement or employment law. Knowledge of property/construction, litigation, higher education, intellectual property or data protection and freedom of information would be an advantage. Innovative and resourceful, pragmatic and commercially aware, you will have a suitable amount of PQE to fulfil the demands of the role.
