THE ROLE
A FTC 12 month contract role has arisen for a contracts Lawyer to join a collegial team.
The role will involve:
Reviewing a variety of cross-border contracts and agreements (insurance contracts, services contracts, intermediary contracts, NDAs and other agreements with external parties)
Drafting agreements as and when required and periodically reviewing and updating standard contract templates
Supporting the Digital Risk business units in negotiation of contracts directly with business partners, brokers and other third parties
Ensuring the company's worldwide partners are protected in their contractual arrangements
Providing advice on existing and future contract arrangements
Implementing / updating contract management processes as required
Reviewing contractual issues raised as part of tender process with business partners
Providing advice on new projects and new products
Reviewing product terms and conditions
Provision of support to senior team members
ABOUT YOU
A qualified lawyer with at least 3PQE
Experience in contracts review, negotiation and drafting essential
Experience in an in-house legal role or commercial law firm required.
Experience in a similar industry (insurance / reinsurance) desirable
Excellent written English required
Fluency in another EU language desirable, French or German being useful.
