Job Details
I am currently working with a top tier Legal 500 law firm who are Lexcel accredited. This Stockport based firm are looking for a Senior Legal Cashier to join their accounts department due to recent expansion of the practice.
The ideal candidate will come from a legal accounts background and will be familiar with all that goes working in a busy practice that deals with a high volume of conveyancing. The firm equally welcomes people from a finance background where the individual is comfortable dealing with a high volume workload whilst maintaining exception attention to detail.
The time is quite small and extremely friendly. This role would suit someone who likes to work in a 'family feeling' environment.
The role itself will involve liaising with the firm's bank regarding incoming/outgoing CHAPS payments, preparation of daily client/office account banking, issuing cheques, purchase ledger, dealing with petty cash, checking bills and allocating costs as well as such other duties as are required in this environment.
Salary is dependant on experience but there is a very attractive package for the right candidate.
