Commercial Property Solicitor

A Sheffield-based law firm has an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor.

The firm has a strong reputation and good name in the region and is looking to expand into commercial property. This is a pivotal new role in the firm and a unique opportunity to develop a new department in an already successful law firm.

The Role:

• Our client is looking for a tenacious and enthusiastic Commercial Property Solicitor to develop a new commercial property department within the firm. The firm has a strong residential conveyancing team and is looking to expand into commercial property
• You will have the chance to network and meet clients, building up your own client base for the department, giving you the opportunity to make a name for yourself and see your work grow the department
• You will have the chance to be involved in the management of a department you have personally helped develop
• You will initially be liaising with the existing network of warm contacts to help get the department started
• While the commercial property department is in the early stages of development, you will also be overseeing and supporting the residential conveyancing team

The Candidate:

• Our client is looking for someone who is ambitious and driven and ready to invest in the development of the department
• You should be confident, able to communicate effectively, and be willing to network with clients to build up a caseload. While a following of work is desirable, it is not necessary so long as you are willing to go out and generate contacts
• You should ideally have 5+ years PQE in commercial property, with some experience in residential conveyancing. Management experience is also desirable for this role
