Job Details
A global insurer based in London, seeks a P&I Solicitor to take up the position of Claims Handler to join their busy team.
Reporting into the head of the team, the Claims Handler will be responsible for delivering en-pointe P&I claims handling, and support to stakeholders and clients.
This highly visible role would suit a qualified UK solicitor with shipping law / marine insurance experience, gained from a reputable private practice firm. Candidates should have an understanding of, and have worked with, P&I clients. In-house P&I experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
Given the level of client and stakeholder exposure, the successful candidate will demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong case handling, and presentation skills.
