Job Details
Guernsey, Channel Islands
Head of Economic Crime ID: 55242
Do you crave the challenge of a city career while based in an idyllic
island location?
Would you relish a stimulating and rewarding role with a quality of life
that’s hard to beat?
Guernsey could offer you the best of both.
We are looking for a dynamic leader to play a key role in protecting Guernsey’s interests as a major international finance centre. As Head of Economic Crime within the Guernsey Border Agency you will oversee and manage investigations and intelligence sharing in relation to serious fraud, money laundering, financing of terrorism, corruption and cross border financial offences.
Working with other authorities within Europe and internationally, the Economic Crime Division is responsible for identifying and locating the proceeds of crime and proactively restraining and confiscating those assets through both criminal and civil proceedings.
It’s a demanding role, but you won’t just find job satisfaction, you will also find a great work-life balance. Guernsey boasts an enviable location just off the coast of France with London only a 40-minute flight away. The island has a thriving social and cultural scene, stunning coastline and plenty of leisure and sporting opportunities. This coupled with low crime, beautiful nearby islands to visit, providing an unparalleled way of life.
A generous package is available including relocation.
