Community Care Solicitor - A community care solicitor is required to join a Hampshire law firm to work on behalf of clients who receive help from social services and the NHS. The community care solicitor will deal with a wide variety of community care matters such as; Social Services Assessments, Disabled Children and the Children Act, Adaptations to the home, Care of elderly and disabled persons, Residential care, Non-residential care and support, NHS care and support, Benefits and Grants, Funding of Care, Disputes and Compensation Claims, Mental Health Problems, Abuse of the Elderly and Safeguarding, Care planning, Funding of Care, Mental Capacity, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS), Negotiating Best Interests, Decisions and attending Best Interests Meetings, Court of Protection applications and challenges and Enduring / Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship Orders.
