North Cheshire / South Manchester area: Superb opportunity for a Paralegal experienced in Court of Protection work to join a popular and well established firm.
Acting for family representatives and applicants, there is a diverse and interesting range of Court of Protection applications and administration work. You will enjoy working as part of a friendly team, which is part of the wider Private Client Department, on instructions such as:
- Applications to the Court of Protection to become a deputy
- Employment and management of carers
- Investment and fund management applications and decisions
- Management of day to day finances including payments, insurance policies and care costs
- Completion of an annual reports, accounts and tax returns
- Purchase and adaptation of a home for the incapacitated person
- Making of specialist will (statutory will) for an incapacitated person
