Clinical Negligence Legal Secretary

An experienced Legal Secretary is required for one of Liverpool's best-known Claimant law firms.

The opportunity

The firm in question requires a full-time Legal Secretary to join their busy Clinical Negligence team at their Liverpool office working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

You will be in a position to demonstrate a high standard of client care using audio typing and IT skills to include case management work. The successful applicant will be able use their initiative, work within a team and be able to respond to deadlines as required.

The role is to work directly for the Head of Department of a dedicated Clinical Negligence Team.

The firm has a small, dedicated Clinical Negligence Team which sits alongside a larger Serious Injury Team in providing a dedicated service to those whose lives are affected by what can be complicated life changing injuries.

The particulars

You will be responsible for preparing accurate documents for court hearings, corresponding to clients by email or telephone along with diary management, filing, scanning and photocopying.

Previous experience of clinical negligence work is essential.

What is on offer

The salary for the role is expected to be between £18,000 and £20,000 depending upon experience.

25 days annual leave.
