Job Details

Are you a solicitor with a strong interest in pursuing a career within professional negligence and with at least six months experience (traineeship seats considered) in these matters?

Are you seeking a new role in the Edinburgh area?

If so then please do read on.

QED Legal's client, one of the country's leading insurance law firms has a requirement for a dispute resolution solicitor of at least two years PQE to take on a professional negligence caseload.

Working alongside a team with ambitious expansion plans you will take over an already healthy caseload which will increase manageably over time. You will work alongside more senior members of the professional indemnity team on a mixed bag of litigation work inclusive of, but not limited to, professional negligence claims and Partnership disputes.

Solicitors from 2 to 5 years PQE can be considered eligible to apply for this role.

Due to this team having a relatively small stature at present, but with the desire and funding to expand this, prospects are most definitely tangible. You will have the opportunity to grow into an expanding area of law in Scotland with a firm determined to be at the forefront of this.

You will enjoy full support of the Partners and associates as you grow into this role.

For additional information please contact Neil Campbell at QED Legal via the details provided.

I look forward to hearing from you.

QED
An acronym of the latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum which translates as "thus it is demonstrated" or "that which was to be demonstrated". It is most often used as an annotation at the end of a complex mathematical, scientific or philosophical argument to show that the author had proven what he had set out to prove. In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".
