Job Details

A leading national firm, with offices across the UK is looking for a Healthcare solicitor to join their team in Exeter. The role is broad and involves an interesting mix of health and social care advisory and litigation work. Issues include; court of protection work, inquests, health funding disputes, mental capacity, judicial review, safeguarding, and other health and social care regulatory work.

Most of the work is on behalf of the NHS and other health and social care providers. The role will also involve doing some advocacy in Court of Protection hearings, and may require some advisory work regarding clinical negligence.

They are looking for solicitors, with good academic backgrounds, who are experienced in the kind of healthcare work mentioned above - doing both the non-contentious advisory work and the contentious litigation. They are also ideally looking for candidates with advocacy experienced gained doing Court of Protection/inquest hearings.
