Legal Counsel (Banking / Technology)

Position: In-House, Senior Legal Counsel – Banking and Technology

Location: Hereford, Herefordshire

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum

About the role:

Brand new, exciting opportunity in a leading Fintech company.

We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic lawyer, with expertise in financial FCA regulation, banking and compliance. This highly sort after position will be responsible for heading up the legal team in a rapidly expanding organisation. Working closely with the company directors, across this diverse and successful business, you will have the knowledge and skills, plus commercial pragmatism, to manage specialist financial and technology work and forge further relationships in these highly regulated and compliant areas of our business.

The successful individual will manage the entire legal function of our business, providing legal advice and guidance to senior management, as well as helping to manage the day-to-day legal needs which accompany an organisation of our size and ambition. You will be responsible for developing the individuals within the legal team; supporting them through their qualifications and increasing their capacity, for them to support the business effectively across a wide range of products and sectors.
