We have a new opportunity for a Commercial Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join a leading Legal 500 practice in Cardiff. This leading and well established practice with multiple offices across Wales & South West offer a comprehensive range of specialist services in a broad range of legal areas. With a strong connection to the community, it provides excellent client care to a loyal base of returning clients. Located in Cardiff the office has convenient transport networks nearby. Currently experiencing a period of growth, the firm is now seeking a Dispute Resolution solicitor to join the team. There will be ad hoc travel to Carmarthen to meet with other members of the team and also the clients.

THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a dynamic Dispute Resolution Solicitor of 3-5 year’s PQE.

The successful solicitor will manage a varied caseload contract and commercial claims, debt recovery and insolvency, director, shareholder and partnership disputes,  property litigation, professional negligence, public law, alternative dispute resolution.

You will be able to manage all aspects of commercial disputes from instruction to settlement. The ideal Dispute Resolution Solicitor will be able to work on his or her own initiative and as part of a team.

THE CANDIDATE

• Be a qualified solicitor from 3 - 5 years’ PQE, with solid experience gained within Dispute Resolution
• Have excellent client care skills, with the ability to explain complex matters in clear
• Jargon-free language
• Possess excellent technical and organisational skills
• Be commercially aware, with excellent negotiation skills.
