RTA Legal Assistant

We are looking for an experienced RTA Claims Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join an expanding team in Liverpool.

This role would suit anybody with upwards of 12 months experience of processing RTA MOJ Portal Claims up to Stage 2.

Your role will be to handle a predominately straightforward caseload of RTA Claims in a high-quality and effective manner under the supervision of the Team Leader.

The law firm in question are a passionate, forward thinking and modern law firm. They currently employ over 150 staff from their state-of-the-art offices in the heart of Liverpool.

About the role

This will involve some vetting of claims at the outset, submitting and developing claims on the MOJ Portal through to the end of Stage 2.

This will involve effective use of the Proclaim Case Management system and the candidate will be expected to display a high degree of proficiency in respect of literary, telephone and customer care skills.

Successful candidates must be capable of vetting prospective claims to identify matters that may be suitable to pursue on liability and quantum grounds

What we are looking for

You should be capable of efficiently handling a volume caseload of RTA Portal claims, with strong organisational skills and the ability to set and meet deadlines, whilst meeting and managing client expectations.

More than 12 months experience of working on legal claims preferably in respect of RTA matters subject to specific team requirements

Excellent understanding of Proclaim or equivalent case management systems

Salary

£16,000-£19,000 Dependent on experience

Working hours

9 am to 5 pm

Holidays

25 days a year plus bank holidays
