High profile national firm are looking to appoint an NQ Construction Litigation solicitor in their Birmingham office.

This chambers rated team enjoys a superb reputation and can boast a formidable client base.

You will join a high flying team full of big hitters which forms part of a wider national network.

As an existing construction litigation lawyer at a leading practice you will already be operating with a certain degree of autonomy and advising clients on a wide variety of construction and engineering related disputes. In this role you can expect to be involved in:

* Alternative dispute resolution, including adjudication, mediation and the resolution of claims under the pre-action protocol for construction and engineering disputes.Specifically PFI and defects disputes;
* Dispute avoidance and risk management;
* Contractual interpretation;
* Professional negligence;
* General advisory work;
* Domestic projects in the main but with the opportunity to become involved in international matters which is clearly a very exciting proposition.

On a personal basis you'll possess excellent technical skills and have a strong client focus. You will also be commercially aware.

The firm offers a sensible approach to work / life balance. On occasions there may be a need to stay late to complete a piece of work however compared to rival firms, the annual chargeable hours target is most reasonable and the salary remians at the highest end for the Birmingham market.
