Job Details

Senior Commercial Property Solicitor - Scunthorpe

Are you a commercial property solicitor looking for opportunities for progression into a senior role in a well respected smaller high street type team rather than a large commercial type firm?.

The ideal candidate will be between upwards of 5 years experience in dealing with commercial property matters. You will be working alongside an experienced partner on a broad range of matters including acquisitions and disposals, commercial leases and development projects.

The partner of this firm is a very well respected local solicitor and has an impressive and loyal client base built up over the years. It is envisaged that once the successful candidate is on board and settled in this partner will start to look towards planning their retirement and ultimate handover of the department to this person.

Opportunities like this do not come up all too often and so if this sounds of interest and you have the relevant experience and are looking to make the step up to a firm with genuine progression opportunities in a firm that is not top heavy then this could be the perfect role for you.

This is not just a role where there is a slim chance of partnership at some point in the future, it is very much on their minds and is a succession planning piece of recruitment for the firm.

Salary will be dependent on experience but will be competitive

Please apply to be considered for this opportunity to the hiring organisation QED legal to be considered for this role.

Company

QED
An acronym of the latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum which translates as "thus it is demonstrated" or "that which was to be demonstrated". It is most often used as an annotation at the end of a complex mathematical, scientific or philosophical argument to show that the author had proven what he had set out to prove. In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".

As a recruiter you have to network and speak to large amounts of people and lots of law firms to really understand the market and have the connections to match people with opportunity quickly when the time arises. A good recruiter needs to be Quick, Excellent and Dynamic in everything that they do. Allow the team at QED to demonstrate what they can do for your firm or your career.
