Private Client Partner

You will be joining a well-recognised practice with a Legal 500 Private Client team who are looking to replicate their success and reputation at their Birmingham office. Most of the team are either full members of, or studying for, the Society of Trusts and Estate Diploma and are all members of The Law Society Private Client Section. You will play an essential part in the growth of this team with the support of the Private Client teams based at other offices.

Private Client Partner – Birmingham

PQE / Experience: 5+ PQE to Partner level

Commutable from: West Midlands, Black Country, Solihull, Coventry, Warwickshire, Worcestershire

The Private Client team is one of the largest teams in the Midlands and South West and has specialists in all aspects of private client work.

The six partner strong team acts for all manner of individuals in relation to Wills and Tax planning; Estate Administration and Trusts.

The role will involve advising a wide range of clients in respect of Wills, Powers of Attorney, trusts, tax and estate planning.

The particulars

Ideal candidate criteria:

• An ambitious Solicitor/Partner who is STEP qualified with a minimum of 5 years PQE;
• A strong technical competence in the relevant areas of the law;
• The confidence to deal with clients at all levels;
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team but also to work independently;
• Being able to work effectively under pressure;
• Organised and enthusiastic;
• Computer literate;
• Excellent client service skills.
