ACCOUNTS MANAGER

My client is a reputable regional law firm based in Staffordshire. A rare opening for an experienced Accounts Manager to lead their finance team ( 3 legal cashiers) and provide a comprehensive accounting service to the practice

As well as having a detailed knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules, ideally candidates will have knowledge of company accounts.

Duties include financial reporting and management accounts, budgeting and monitoring, billing and credit management, payroll, purchasing as well as management of IT ( Hardware and software & specific account systems).

Candidates should have excellent communication and people management skills combined with an analytical approach and ability to think strategically.

This opportunity has arisen due to the planned retirement of the current role holder. It is a superb chance to take over a leadership role in a well-run and forward thinking practice, and become an integral part of the management team.
