An award-winning law firm is currently seeking a Newly Qualified Family Solicitor to join its West Yorkshire office. Our client have a national reputation, are a forward thinking firm and have a passion for making a difference to people's lives. The firm is single site and have been long established within the region. Their family team is in growth mode and is looking for a driven and motivated team player to join them.
This role offers the opportunity to handle a private caseload of family work, allowing you to get involved in a wide range of cases such as non-molestation applications, children act proceedings, divorce proceedings and financial cases to name a few.
There is a requirement to assist the team leader on cases but there will also be the opportunity to manage your own case files under supervision.
As you will be just starting out in your career, this role gives you the chance to build further on skills that you will have gained during your training such as advocacy by attending court on directions hearings and drafting documents and letters on behalf of clients.
Due to the work on offer and the requirements of the role the firm is seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join them. However this is just a guideline and candidates that fall outside of this bracket that possess the correct knowledge and skillset to succeed in this role are encouraged to apply.
The firm is looking for someone who has the ability to take instruction and learn quickly.
The team are close knit so personality is really important alongside a good sense of humour when the time is right!
