Job Details
Our client has an international presence and currently have an opportunity for an 3PQE+ Associate to join the commercial litigation team in Newcastle.
Working with a national team you can expect to work on a wide spectrum of commercial disputes work, partnering their clients to resolve multi million pound disputes from day one. The range of commercial disputes is diverse - your work could include commercial contract disputes for petrochemical companies, to advising on pension disputes, through to IT and technology disputes, procurement disputes and everything in between. What is common to all the contentious work is the quality and complexity of disputes they're supporting their clients on. You can expect to play a central part in large high value cases that are extremely important to the clients and their businesses.
What does the ideal candidate look like?
You'll have experience in a broad range of commercial disputes work and/or arbitration gained at a City or leading regional firm. More important will be the ability to apply a forensic intelligence to complex issues on behalf of the clients, a proactive attitude to work, and a level of personal resilience to support challenging yet rewarding cases. You'll also be confident, with commercial acumen, and be able to demonstrate the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
