IN-HOUSE Qualified Patent Attorney job - Lead IP Lawyer in the UK - c£100k + package

Your new company
£Billion turnover company with a global presence. Following expansion of the business, this organisation is looking to recruit a qualified, driven and influential Patent Attorney to join the global legal team in a strategic role.


Your new role
This is a newly created position reporting into the Global Head of IP where you will drive the IP strategy and provide expertise on European patent law. You must have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills as you will work across the group, building meaningful relationships both internally and externally. You will work closely with the leading Research and Design team based in the North West alongside developing the company's global IP strategy. The location is easily commutable from Chester, Wrexham, Flintshire, Ellesmere Port, Warrington or Liverpool.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Chartered Patent Attorney with experience in European patent law. You will be a driven lawyer who thrives in working in an influential role. Experience with the medical or pharmaceutical sector, either gained in private practice or from working in-house, would be ideal. You will need good leadership skills, with experience in working autonomously, as this will be a standalone role for the UK with a view to building a team in the future.

You will be rewarded with an base salary between £90k - £100k plus a very attractive benefits package including a generous car allowance, pension contributions and bonus.
