Commercial Property - Head of Department

A leading Legal 500 listed commercial practice is keen to appoint a Commercial Property Solicitor in a Head of Department position with full responsibility for the real estate team.

This practice is one of the largest within the North West and offers the full range of legal services to both individuals and commercial entities and is renowned for providing high calibre, expert advice. The firm continuously invests in technology to tailor its approach to the needs of its long-standing clients and it is particularly focused on continuous investment in all of its members to ensure constant professional development.

Due to succession planning, the practice is keen to hear from an experienced commercial property solicitor with a minimum of 7 years' PQE. This is a unique opportunity as there is no requirement for you to have a following. The firm already has an established and extensive client base so there are already instructions to service.

This is the perfect opportunity for somebody who is keen on taking on a new challenge and who wants to get involved in continuing to build the department and increasing the practices' standing in the market so this is not just a purely fee earning role.

This role would suit a current partner who is perhaps disillusioned in their current firm and is seeking a new challenge without having to deal with the complexities of bringing a client base with them. Alternatively, those who able describe themselves as a "frustrated number two/three" who is tired of promises of promotion in their current firm yet again failing to materialise.

On offer is a very competitive salary and benefits package and also the opportunity to participate in a number of social outings organised by the firm. The practice provides a supportive and collaborative environment and there is a very good work/life balance so this is a firm that is very much aware of the importance of employee engagement.
