A leading international law firm are looking for a Real Estate Finance lawyer in London.

Your new company
A leading international law firm are looking for a Real Estate Finance lawyer to join their London team. The firm's real estate lawyers act for some of the largest and most active property investors in the world. The firm represents developers, landlords, occupiers, investors, lenders, substantial family offices and sovereign funds on both domestic and cross-border projects. The real estate team advises on matters throughout the life-cycle of a property - from financing and funding, sale and purchase, planning and project development, construction and renovation, to sale and leaseback/management back arrangements, off-plan sales and dispute resolution and insolvency.

Your new role
You will have the opportunity to develop specialist expertise in real estate financing, working with lenders and investors in relation to private equity, bank funding, investment, recapitalisation and restructures. You will advise on a significant number of real estate finance matters ranging in value from £5m to £370m.
Your clients will vary in size from institutional blue chip organisations, pension funds, family offices, sovereign funds as well as substantial private companies and high net worth individuals, in each case you will deal with both domestic and overseas matters.


What you'll need to succeed
You will require a minimum 2.1 degree from a reputable university and be able to demonstrate a solid track record of advising on real estate finance matters. You will need to be able to demonstrate commitment to real estate finance as a legal specialism. Exemplary case management, organisation, direct client contact and care, and attention to detail are all essential skill sets. You will need to be able to delegate to and supervise secretarial and support staff as well as more junior members of the team and assist with department training. Experience of establishing and maintaining long term client relationships and an existing client following will also be advantageous.This role would suit a Lawyer with approximately 3-7 years' PQE or equivalent experience.
