Salary Range: £46,646 - £49,618 p.a. (plus Market Forces Payment of £4000 p.a. + welcome payment is one off payment of £4,000)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Job Duties:

The Childcare Litigation Unit, a LEXCEL accredited legal service offers a talented and ambitious legal professional the chance to gain invaluable experience and build a solid platform for a successful and rewarding career. Due to the continued success and expansion of Hertfordshire County Council’s legal service and increased collaboration with District Councils in Hertfordshire we are seeking to grow and strengthen our team. We are looking to appoint lawyers to work across our team based primarily at our Hertford office.

We are looking for a talented and ambitious lawyer to join an existing leadership team in childcare litigation. You will be a qualified lawyer (solicitor/barrister/chartered legal executive) ideally with local government experience – but that is not essential. We are keen to hear from you if you have experience of Public Law Children Act proceedings and the ability and motivation to manage a successful team of Lawyers.
