Commercial Contracts Lawyer

Our client, a busy Local Authority based in London, is currently seeking a Commercial Contracts/ EU Procurement Lawyer to join their team. The role is to start as soon as possible and the position will run for three months initially.

The successful Commercial Contracts Lawyer will be responsible for carrying a full caseload. The caseload will include the following matters:

• Complex construction contracts,
• Service contracts,
• Contract related governance issues- GDPR,
• Advising senior officers within the council,
• Broad advice experience and
• Excellent drafting skills

Due to the urgent nature of the role, our client is seeking candidates available on short notice. EU Procurement experience is essential therefore, candidates with previous public sector experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience from other sectors but with the EU Procurement exposure should apply to this advert.
