Conveyancing Fee Earner / Solicitor

We have the pleasure of working with a long-established law firm who are looking for a Conveyancing Fee Earner / Solicitor to join their Residential Conveyancing department at their offices in Chester. The firm is well established and attracts top calibre employees and clients alike.

You will be part of an expert team in which is currently made up of solicitors, licensed conveyancers, and legal executives, who are dedicated to providing a first-class service to their clients.

About the role

My client is an award-winning law firm who have an excellent reputation, receiving many Legal 500 recommendations.

As a Fee Earner / Solicitor, you will be working within the Residential Conveyancing team in Chester. This department deals with a range of Residential Conveyancing matters including selling a property, buying a property, mortgages, re-mortgages, transfer of ownership, property auctions, residential tenancy agreements (RTAs) and buy-to-let.

You will manage a varied and complex caseload to include sales, purchases and re-mortgages. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Commercial Property team in dealing with more complex files including development and plot sales.

In addition to the above your role may also include: -

• Day to day line management, ensuring development plans are agreed, targets achieved, and relevant training delivered
• Developing and maintaining profitable relationships with new and existing clients, including referrers
• Attending networking and other business events with existing and prospective clients.

The candidate

You will be a Fee Earner or Solicitor qualified to practice in England and Wales with proven previous experience dealing with a mixed Residential Conveyancing caseload to include experience of working on freehold, leasehold, new build and shared ownership properties.
