We are currently recruiting for a Childcare Lawyer to work within a great local authority legal team based in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and supportive team. The successful candidate will be provided with excellent admin support and will have the opportunity to intrust counsel rather than conducting their own advocacy if preferred.
As a Childcare Lawyer, the ideal candidate would have previous experience of working in a local authority, although this is not essential. Candidates from private practice seeking to work in the public sector are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate would be a qualified legal executive, solicitor or equivalent.
Some of the duties for this position include dealing with:
- 5-7 Public care cases
- 2-3 Proceeding matters
- Legal Planning Meetings
- Some Advocacy in West London Courts
