Civil Litigation Solicitor

A long established, full service law firm in Wakefield requires a driven and enthusiastic Solicitor specialising in civil litigation to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic role that will give you excellent exposure to a broad mix of Civil Litigation files, covering everything from landlord and tenant disputes to probate and Personal Injury files. This would be a fantastic new challenge for an established Solicitor.

Our client has been serving the North of England for around 100 years and has developed a loyal client base stretching across the area. They are looking for the right candidate who can help build on this reputation and bring more work into the team.

The Role:
-You will gain excellent exposure to a broad mixture of Civil Litigation files covering landlord and tenant disputes, probate, commercial, debt, Personal Injury and much more.
-Running your own desk, you will handle the files from start to completion under minimum supervision, taking full autonomy over your work.
-This is an exciting time to join their reputable team as they are growing and developing.
-The firm is looking for somebody who can play a pivotal role in the team and bring in new work through networking and business development.

The Candidate:

-Ideally you will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years pqe, however the firm is flexible and happy to consider candidates that fall outside this bracket that possess the correct knowledge and skillset to succeed in this role.
-You must be able to confidently run your own mixed Civil Litigation caseload from start to completion and have demonstrable experience in this practice area.
-Taking part in Business Development you must be a confident communicator and networker.
-Those with a demonstrable team spirit would be most suited.
-Ideally this role would suit someone looking for part-time hours, but the firm can be open minded in this regard.
