Private Client Solicitor
A new opportunity has arisen for a junior Private Client Solicitor to join a firm in its York office.
Our client, a leading Yorkshire law firm is predominately a commercial firm which has specialist private client capabilities too. They are highly regarded in the area and have an enviable client base consisting of many well-known national and international companies ranging from major PLCs to small private companies and charitable organisations.
The role will involve handling a range of private client matters, particularly trusts work alongside wills and probate and estate administration. A lot of the cases that the team handle are for high net worth individuals so this is a great role to build on your experience with these type of clients. For junior lawyers there is the opportunity to support a senior solicitor in the team on the more complex matters as well as running some of your own smaller matters. For the more experienced solicitors there is the opportunity to help grow and develop the department.
Due to the work on offer the firm really needs someone with a couple of years' experience behind them but otherwise are really open and happy to consider candidates with upwards of 2 years pqe for this role. Candidates that fall outside of this bracket but still possess the correct knowledge and skillset to succeed in this role are encouraged to apply.
They are looking for someone who is switched on with excellent communication skills and who enjoys client contract as there will be plenty within this role.
