An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a national, award winning law firm that is based in Leeds. The firm is very sector specific and is rated by The Legal 500 and Chambers Directory as the leading provider of legal services to the health sector. The role
Managing a caseload of claims for the NHS Resolution.
You will be handling a broad mix of defendant clinical negligence claims. This will involve drafting pleadings, witness statements and letters of response, instructing experts and counsel, conducting negotiations and mediation of claims as well as preparing counter schedules.
Our client is looking for a Solicitor who is newly qualified up to 3 years PQE with litigation experience, preferably gained with a leading medical negligence or personal injury/insurance practice but our client is flexible. A strong interest in healthcare is a must and you should be eager to develop your career in this area. Whilst experience within defendant work would be ideal, they are also happy to consider lawyers with strong claimant clinical negligence experience looking to make the switch.
