Our client is a long-established law firm with an excellent reputation for the services they provide. The firm has recently opened a brand new office in Leeds City Centre, and as a result, are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Solicitor to join the team and help drive the success of this newly established office.

Although the firm is full-service, Commercial Property is at the heart of what they do and as such Real Estate forms a major part of the client base. Previously, the firm has always resourced its work in the North from its other office, but is now looking for someone based more locally to contribute to the sustained and significant growth of the team.

The successful solicitor will be managing a caseload covering a full range of commercial property matters, with particular emphasis on site acquisition and development projects, development agreements, conditional contract, potential title problems, as well as more. Business development will also be a fundamental part of this role, meaning the successful solicitor will be developing business locally in conjunction with the partners in the wider team, as well as other fee earners based in the Leeds office.

Solicitors not only have the chance to contribute to the further development of an already successful law firm, but also have the opportunity to build a name for themselves in the area and develop their own network of contacts within real estate.

Our client envisages candidates with at least 3 year's PQE as a Commercial Property Solicitor, but could be up to c10 years PQE, to have the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the role. Previous experience of site acquisition and development work would also be highly beneficial for this role but isn't critical.
