Opportunity to work at this highly regarded North West law firm who are seeking a senior conveyancing Solicitor, FCILEX of Licensed Conveyancer. This position is to lead a small but strong department and take over from an outgoing retiring partner. There will also be an opportunity to move into a Partnership role, should you desire.

The practice is a full service law firm which has offices across the Greater Manchester and Lancashire regions and is renowned for offering the complete range of legal services to both individuals and commercial clients.

As this is a Head of Department role you have experience of managing a team or department and be comfortable being a senior figure with control over most aspects of the team. There will be the opportunity to work with the management board to help grow and expand the department, in both revenue & head count.

This role provides a large amount of direct client contact with a loyal client base but at the same time affords the security of panel instructions. Ideally you will have a high street background and be comfortable meeting with clients on a face to face basis, as well as being able to generate new business by working with the local community. There will be plenty of opportunities to grow the department by undertaking a variety of business development initiatives.

As this is a management role salary will be in the realms of £50,000 - £60,000+ with an added bonus attached. This firm do promote a healthy work/life balance so you won't be expected to work into long hours.
