This role offers the opportunity to work on a purely respondent caseload acting on behalf of a range of clients in various different industries on all aspects of employment law. You can expect to deal with cases such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, breach of contract, holiday pay alongside advising on corporate support, executive terminations and challenging disciplinary and grievance issues. The work is of a high standard and will enable you to get stuck into some complex matters.
The firm needs someone experienced who is able to pick up existing cases and hit the ground running. Therefore they have indicated that candidates with at least 4 yrs pqe will be of interest, however they are happy to consider much more senior lawyers too.
Whilst there is a full caseload, they are keen to recruit who is confident and eager to get involved in business development to help bring work in and grow the team in the midterm. There will also be the opportunity to take on wider responsibilities such as training and supervising more junior members in the team, management experience would be beneficial but certainly not essential for the role.
