An Employment Solicitor is required for a leading law firm based in the Preston offices. Following a successful 2017, the employment law department is expanding, and an additional solicitor is required.
This role involves providing HR advisory services to a wide range of firms from SME's to multi million pound organisations on a mixture of contentious and non-contentious matters. Ideally you will have previous experience advising HR and will have strong technical knowledge around employment legislation.
The department is headed up by a partner and there are 4 other fee earners and assistant support is available. Most of the work received is from the local surrounding area - the work is already generated so you can hit the ground running.
There are very strong career progression opportunities into Associate and Senior Associate solicitor - the firm have clear progression plan in place and are well known for progressing people upwards. This role would suit someone looking for a stable firm to develop their knowledge further and progress your career to the next level.
