The Role
Our client has an opportunity for a part-time Accounts Assistant to support their Legal Cashier and Accounts Manager. Duties of this position will include: payment of invoices, processing card statements and VAT; managing petty cash; daily bank management; archiving of files; assisting with accounts queries and; daily posting of receipts. To ensure this is done to a high standard, the successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of banking systems and experience working with accounts systems. Full training will be provided, however previous knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules is advantageous.

The Candidate
IT proficient, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
Possess GCSEs or equivalent in Mathematics and English;
Good knowledge of banking systems is necessary;
Experience working with accounts systems, inclusive of posting of receipts/payments;
Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules is advantageous, although not necessary.
